Asylem seekers, in my opinion i would perfer them to just disappear, cause im just sick and tired of hearing so much **** about it. It would be nice if it could get sorted easyer, but i really hate the idea of them stealing australian jobs, and why seed to them when we have our own homeless in the streets, like honestly what the ****.

Damon, it was interesting reading your opinion. Do you feel any differently than you did before we watched 'Marking Time' or discussed this issue in class? You seem rather angry...is this an issue that evokes an emotional response in you? Why do you think that is?

Damon, thanks for your reflection on asylum seekers. It is an issue that attracts a lot of coverage in the media and generates much debate. When we debate issues, it is important to consider the facts. Perhaps on your next blog you could include some facts that might help you frame a response?
